    Dyslexic pupils have learning difficulties in reading, writing, maths. They require individualised education. The paper presents an approach to achievement of personalised teaching the basics of reading that applies dyslexic learner’ profile ontology and learning goals ontology. A general model of reading that is rationale for determination of the latter is proposed. Ontology of dyslexia disabilities is suggested for manual annotation of learning resources

    Discutindo a educação ambiental no cotidiano escolar: desenvolvimento de projetos na escola formação inicial e continuada de professores

    A presente pesquisa buscou discutir como a Educação Ambiental (EA) vem sendo trabalhada, no Ensino Fundamental e como os docentes desta escola compreendem e vem inserindo a EA no cotidiano escolar., em uma escola estadual do município de Tangará da Serra/MT, Brasil. Para tanto, realizou-se entrevistas com os professores que fazem parte de um projeto interdisciplinar de EA na escola pesquisada. Verificou-se que o projeto da escola não vem conseguindo alcançar os objetivos propostos por: desconhecimento do mesmo, pelos professores; formação deficiente dos professores, não entendimento da EA como processo de ensino-aprendizagem, falta de recursos didáticos, planejamento inadequado das atividades. A partir dessa constatação, procurou-se debater a impossibilidade de tratar do tema fora do trabalho interdisciplinar, bem como, e principalmente, a importância de um estudo mais aprofundado de EA, vinculando teoria e prática, tanto na formação docente, como em projetos escolares, a fim de fugir do tradicional vínculo “EA e ecologia, lixo e horta”.Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias de la Educació

    Heterogeneous IoT Platform for Device Management and Environmental Sensor Data Gathering

    In this paper, we propose a new IoT platform which supports the use of different wired and radio connections to manage devices and gather environmental sensor data. We discuss the pilot implementation of our new platform which deals with the smart control of air-conditioning devices in shopping malls. The building blocks of the platform – two types of electronic controllers of our own design – are described in detail. The Internet connectivity of the platform enables the use of an Internetbased control center for storing historical data, performing statistical analyses, making automated corrections in the device control and providing possibilities for remote control by human operators.     DG ECHO (Avrupa Topluluğu İnsani Yardım Bürosu Genel Müdürlüğü)’nun Koruma ve Hazırlık için teklif çağrısının sivil koruma desteğinin finansal araçları tarafından desteklenen Akıllı Su Projesi kapsamında Bulgaristan’daki Maritza Nehri’nin Svilengard (Hasköy) Belediyesi sınırları içerisinde bulunan bölgesinde bir araştırma başlatılmıştır. Projenin ana fikri sivil koruma mühendislerinin günlük işlerinde taşkın haritaları üzerinde webGIS araçları kullanarak olası sel felaketi senaryolarını belirlemesi ve arazide çalışan harekat ekiplerine çevrimiçi destek verebilmesidir. Bulgaristan Bilimler Akademisi’ndeki araştırmacılar, pilot ortak Danube Delta Ar-ge Ulusal Enstitüsü -Padova İli, Romanya ortağı- ile konsorsiyum kapsamında çalışmışlardır, araştırma komitesi Tesali Üniversitesi ve Tesali bölgesindendir. Hazırlanan taşkın haritaları konsorsiyum arazi çalışmaları sonuçları arasındaki uyumluluğu sağlayacak olan 2007/60/EC sayılı AB taşkın yönetmeliğine uygun olarak üretilmiştir

    Conceptual Modeling of IoT Ecosystems: A Business-Oriented Approach

    In this paper, a new approach to the conceptual modeling of IoT ecosystems is presented. Taking into consideration the business processes of an organization, this approach allows the creation of models which integrate IoT-devices and IoT-governed activities into the business flow of the company. The main purpose of this research is to help organizations make faster and more efficient choices based on formalized input/output from their IoT-resources and networks. The use of modeling and formal description is necessary in order to include IoT in ERPsystems, so that IoT is considered in the overall strategic planning and decision making on all levels.
